I wanted to see if you might be interested in a key SW Eng position we are hiring for at Startgrid (www.startgrid.com), a fast-growing, exciting Enterprise SaaS co based in Burlingame (flexible hours and partial telecommute avail). Startgrid is a 2 yr old startup with an impressive Fortune 500 client list already and has an Enterprise SaaS platform that connects entrepreneurs with large enterprises to accelerate innovation within each firm (this is a greenfield opportunity with no current competitors in this space). The company has already signed several Fortune 500 co's and have many more in pilot projects. Now comes the challenging part as we need to build out our data services layer more fully and securely and need someone to lead that effort.

An ideal candidate will have the following exp/skillset:

Someone who has shipped & supported services architecture in a large-scale, Linux HA production env
Exp building the data services layer with an emphasis on security/encryption that will satisfy F500 clients
Middle/Back-end exp (Full-stack is great!) with large scale platforms
Ability/Willingness to pick up GO language (no prior exp necessary)
NoSQL exp (MongoDB a +)
Current stack is Angular/GO/MongoDB (Python exp a + too)

Startgrid is an Enterprise SaaS platform to connect entrepreneurs with leading enterprises to accelerate delivery of innovation within the Enterprise. Our customers are some of the most innovative companies in the Fortune 500.

We’re looking for a bright, driven and talented Software Engineer to work collaboratively with our geographically distributed Engineering team to help design, build, and scale the middle-tier data services layer for our Enterprise SaaS platform from the ground up using Go, JSON, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and more.

The data services layer is an essential for our platform to ensure customer data is properly protected and reliably available to the application tier. The candidate must possess a balanced combination of team collaboration, data modeling, data security, API design, and implementation skills.

Projects include: secure, reliable, and scalable API development for multi-tenant web and mobile applications in GoLang including authentication, permissions, data integration, import/export, search indexing, event processing pipeline, machine learning and data analytics.

Skills/Experience:

3-5+ yrs of professional software engineering experience
Go / Golang (no Go experience? Java, C, etc. experience is great as well)
JavaScript and Python experience is a plus
Shipped and supported services architecture on Linux in a High Availability (HA) production environment
