What best practices are being followed?
What processes do we use for software development?
Are we using Agile methodology?  What is your experience with Agile methodology?
Is the team really effective?  What can we do better?
In what area could our team use a little polishing?

What are the company values or your values?
What constitute success at this position / company? 
How does this company define and measure success?
How do you measure success?
What is the one thing you are working to improve?

Can you briefly talk about each product?
I've read about the company founding / history, but can you tell me more about X?
Is this a new position?  If not, what did the previous employee go on to do?
Who does this position report to?
Do we have any remote team?  Where are they located?  How do we manage to work with remote teams?
Are they contractors or are they employees of this company?
