Git Create Empty Repository

git

// Git - Create Empty Repository:

mkdir directoryName
cd directoryName
git init // Initialize the repository in the current folder

When we initialize Git in an existing folder, Git initialize it. There is no
network involved. Git is using the local file system. We can make changes to
our code (folder), commit, etc, but all these are still local inside our folder
(no network involved). If we want to forget that the folder ever existed, we
just delete it, and there would be no trace of it anywhere. So far, using
Git is not a reliable back-up solution. If we want to, we can zip up the folder
and send it to our peers.
